With a commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, we specialize in installing firestop systems to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases in buildings. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Firestop Installation Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Install firestop systems in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Select and use appropriate firestop materials and installation techniques based on the specific requirements of each project.
- Prepare work areas and surfaces for firestop installation, including cleaning, sealing, and preparing penetrations as needed.
- Measure, cut, and fit firestop materials to ensure proper installation and coverage of penetrations, joints, and other openings.
- Apply firestop sealants, sprays, wraps, and other materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct post-installation inspections to verify the integrity and effectiveness of firestop systems.
- Complete all required documentation, including installation reports, as-built drawings,



and material usage logs.
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate firestop installation activities with other construction activities and trades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others on-site.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in firestop installation or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor and work at heights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
