Cedar Brook Early Learning Centre

3532 Woodstock Road , Fredericton New Brunswick

Hours: Monday to Friday, Preferred 2:30-5:00

**Includes: All regular school days, plus full time days 13+ PD days per year, and other school closures.

We’re looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic individual to join our team for our after-school program! This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with school-aged children in a fun and supportive workplace.

Position Highlights:

- Steady weekday hours – perfect for students, part-time workers, or retirees
- Extra hours available on professional development days, storm days, sick calls and special events
- Support children with activities, snacks, and outdoor play
- Be part of a positive team making a daily impact
- Likely to turn to full time 40 + hours during summer months

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be prepared to go outside in all different weather conditions
- Basic First Aid certification is required




- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector completed prior to start
- Social Development Check will also need to be completed ( by employer After successful candidate has been identified)
- Experience working with children is an asset

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with children particularly with groupd, teaching , after school or coaching roles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating children.
- Ability to create engaging activites that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning.
