Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, muffins, cookies, and pastries, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision and creativity to enhance visual appeal
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and packaging products for sale or delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Support the team in managing inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients




- Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about baked goods and assisting with product selection when needed

Qualifications

- Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or food preparation is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment is advantageous
- Strong skills in cooking, baking, and food presentation with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Kitchen experience involving food packaging and product display is a plus
