JOIN HOUSE OF POOL

House of Pool is looking for a friendly, reliable, professional, and customer-focused Service Provider to help provide an excellent experience for our customers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping a clean and welcoming environment, and is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day standards of a busy recreational facility.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, positive, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining House of Pool's standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

During accepted service periods, your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming customers and maintaining a friendly, respectful atmosphere.
- Preparing the facility for opening.
- Keeping customer areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Cleaning and maintaining pool tables and equipment.
- Cleaning and restocking washrooms.
- Maintaining snack and cooler areas.
- Checking inventory and reporting supplies that need to be replenished.
- Reporting damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or other issues.
- Following House of Pool opening and closing procedures.
- Cleaning and resetting the facility after customer use.
- Ensuring lights, TVs, air conditioning, heating, signage, and other systems are properly managed at closing.
- Securing and resetting the facility at the end of the service period.
- Providing professional and respectful customer service at all times.

- Previous customer-service, hospitality, recreation, or retail experience is an asset.

COMPENSATION

$19.00 CAD per hour + tips

Tips received from customers are additional to the $19.00 hourly rate.

- Paid biweekly by cheque.
- Service Provider is responsible for their own applicable taxes and filings in British Columbia.
- No employee benefits, vacation pay, or sick pay are provided under the self-employed service arrangement.

FLEXIBLE SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Service periods are offered according to the needs of House of Pool.

- Service periods may be accepted or declined.
- Additional service opportunities may become available based on business needs.
- Advance notice of unavailability is appreciated whenever possible.




- Reliability and availability may be considered when future service opportunities are offered.

INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER

This opportunity is offered as a self-employed, independent service-provider arrangement, subject to the House of Pool Self-Employed Service Agreement.

The selected applicant will be required to review and sign the service agreement before beginning services.
