Job Overview

We are looking to add an IT/ERP Technician to our team!

The IT/ERP Technician will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the technology infrastructure, including ERP, software and network systems, to ensure optimal operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring minimal downtime, troubleshooting technical issues, server maintenance, cyber security and supporting staff with their technology needs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide technical assistance and support to staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, servers and networking equipment.




- Maintain and troubleshoot the facilities network.
- Ensure the security of systems, networks, and devices, monitoring for vulnerabilities or unauthorized access.
- Perform routine data backups, manage file systems and ensure data integrity on both general IT systems and manufacturing databases.
- Assist in data recovery processes in the event of system failures.
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements to enhance the productivity of IT systems.
- Maintain comprehensive records of technical issues, resolutions and inventory management.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents and on-going projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s degree in information technology, computer Science or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in an IT/ERP support role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 2019 is an asset.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Experience with networking protocols and network security.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery methods.
- Familiarity with the M365 Ecosystem, Active Directory and Exchange.




- An understanding of ERP systems – PLEX is an asset.

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good communications skills for interacting with staff.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
