Lifco Hydraulics is a trusted global distributor of hydraulic components, with branches across North America. We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated Project Manager. This is a perfect job for somebody that wants to work their way up in a company that has been consistently growing for the past 20 years.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced & highly organized Project Manager to support all departments & branches of our company (IT, marketing, sales, engineering and administration). This position will also be involved directly with the larger development projects we are currently undergoing. The ideal candidate will take iniative, have a drive to increase their skills and understanding on a daily basis, and be able to work in a fast paced environment where multitasking is a necessity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project schedules, milestones and resource requirements;
- Coordinate tasks and projects across the organizations various departments;
- Act as a liason between departments and the President of the company;
- Monitor and assess projects on a daily basis;
- Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans;
- Manage project changes, scope and requirements;
- Coorindate testing and track progress;
- Support continuous improvement iniatives within the project management and operations processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven project management experience;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment;
- Must have a Bachelors degree in a business field of study;
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy;
- Experience in a sales environment is an asset;
- Strong drive and ability to take initiative.

** Please note - While this position is currently located in Fort Erie, the position will start with training in St. Catharines at our head office. Position will move to Fort Erie the beginning of November.
