Our client is one of the world’s largest suppliers in the automotive space. They are a mobility technology company built to innovate, with a global, entrepreneurial-minded team.

Transform today’s manufacturing by designing cloud-based IoT solutions for structured and unstructured data. We are currently looking for two developers to join this team.

Advantages

Responsibilities
We are building fully connected systems to achieve operational excellence – help us transform today’s manufacturing by:

 Developing flexible software solutions that enable IoT capabilities across our manufacturing operations
 Recommending best practices for building secure and reliable applications
 Identifying and defining which cloud-services meet a given technical requirement
 Brainstorming for current ideas and ways to improve development and delivery
 Monitoring metrics and developing ways to improve
 Providing detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal
resources required
 Working with source control tools (Confluence, GitHub, etc.)
 Actively troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing and production
 Work with engagement leaders and program managers during project initiation to understand user stories and
success criteria
 Independently design, code, document, and unit test new features for applications that run in the cloud.
 Ensure solutions produced adhere to best-practice object-oriented tenets, software design patterns, architectural
patterns, coding standards, test methodology, and build/deploy patterns
 Contribute to strategy for code management and product development, maintain reusable components that
accelerate time-to-value
 Follow contemporary Product and DevOps best practices, participate in agile ceremonies, work with customer in
short sprints
 Collaborate with product/project and program manager(s) to present resulting product to stakeholders
 Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
 Works directly with the client user, front end developer, and data scientists to design,



test and develop new
business analytics applications.
 Develop and maintain data integrations with internal and external sources.
 Rapidly fix bugs, solve problems, and proactively strive to improve our products and technologies.
 Creates and sustains processes, tools, and on-going support structures and processes.
 Provide effective architecture/design direction to the development team and mentorship to less-experienced
team members to increase effectiveness
 Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
 Broad technology experience across at multiple areas including: cloud
architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL
databases, analytics, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, server
less, CI/CD, management and monitoring, cloud migrations, IT transformation
 Experience with container orchestration, configuration, and life-cycle
management
 Expertise with REST based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methods and
implementation technologies such as microservices
 Experience architecting/designing solutions built on cloud
 Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud
 Proficiency in React.js, Node.js and API development as well as HTML or CSS
(front-end development)

Other Skills/Experience -
Preferred:

 Experience with event driven protocols such as MQTT or Kafka
 Strong background in authentication and authorization protocols and
applications such as Azure Active Directory, and OAuth 2.0.
 Understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Software-
as-a-Service, and Function-as-a-Service models, incl. ability to write code to
interact with cloud native services
 Experience with multiple programming languages (ex: JavaScript, C#, Python,
C++, Java)
 Excellent problem-solving skills including leading problem-solving teams




 Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project
team
 Hands on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP and private cloud
technologies
 Understanding of the public Cloud Shared Responsibility Model
 Outstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level
management helping in decision making
 Negotiation skills and ability to work with several and diverse set of
stakeholders/customers
 Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and
multitask as needed
 Self-starter, ability to work independently but still can work within group to
deliver best-in-class solutions
