Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

- Safely transport construction equipment and gravel using Class 1 vehicles (lowboys, end dumps, or similar)
- Load and unload heavy machinery with care and in compliance with safety procedures
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to all provincial and federal transportation regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Assist with securing loads properly using chains, binders, and tarps as needed

Requirements





- Valid Class 1.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Experience with automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
