We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, processing payroll, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting data. Your expertise will help support the financial health of our organization by maintaining precise bookkeeping practices and utilizing QuickBooks software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Complete month-end and year-end closing procedures, including ledger entries and financial reporting.
- Support audit preparations by organizing documentation and providing detailed account information as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail for account analysis, bank reconciliation, and data accuracy.
- Ability to perform budgeting tasks and support financial planning activities.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external auditors.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and best practices to ensure regulatory compliance.
