Toncini Pasta Bar is looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Front of House Team Member to join our growing team at the Toncini Pasta Bar.

As one of the welcoming faces of our business, you will help create a memorable experience for every guest by providing warm, attentive, and efficient service. You will assist customers with dine-in, takeout, retail, and online orders while helping maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in excellent customer service, and works well in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

- Warmly welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service
- Take and process dine-in, takeout, retail, and online orders accurately
- Operate the POS system and handle cash and electronic payments responsibly
- Answer questions and provide knowledgeable recommendations about our menu and retail products
- Suggest additional menu items and products that may enhance the guest’s experience
- Prepare and package food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist with light food and beverage preparation while following food-safety standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked dining areas, service stations, and retail displays
- Restock beverages, packaging, retail products, and other front-of-house supplies
- Assist with inventory counts and order management
- Answer telephone inquiries and respond to customer requests
- Address guest questions or concerns professionally and promptly




- Support the kitchen and management teams when needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures

Qualifications

- Previous customer service, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time-management abilities
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable handling cash and completing basic transaction calculations
- Experience using a POS system is an asset
- Food preparation or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
