Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Self-Employed Renovation Helper / Subcontractor to join our team. This role offers flexible, paid opportunities for experienced construction professionals who thrive in agile environments. As a key contributor, you will support various renovation projects, using your skills to deliver high-quality results and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Assist with a wide range of renovation tasks, including framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and cabinet installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute project specifications accurately
- Prepare surfaces through caulking, concrete finishing, masonry work, or restoration techniques as needed
- Support plumbing, electrical, welding, and masonry tasks under supervision or based on skill level
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials and tools effectively




- Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or renovation projects with a strong understanding of building processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking, concrete forming/finishing, carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, welding, masonry or restoration is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various project environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are advantageous

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
