Job Description
To be eligible for Pomerleau’s internship program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
- Reside in Canada at the time of application and for the entire duration of the internship.
- Be duly enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution or have graduated from such an institution within no more than six (6) months prior to the internship start date.

As an intern at Pomerleau Construction, you will have the opportunity to support new and ongoing project growth while gaining invaluable hands-on experience. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you'll work closely with our teams to learn the ropes and make a real impact.
What you will do :
- Support the project team with baseline schedule creation and progress tracking.
- Apply scheduling standards and follow internal scheduling processes.
- Assist in preparing documentation, including narratives and resource visuals.
- Join schedule update meetings, helping gather input from partners and subs.
- Track progress and flag issues,
supporting variance analysis and mitigation.
- Facilitate communication between scheduling stakeholders.
- Help submit scheduling documents and attend client meetings if needed.
- Support multiple projects from, construction sites, as capacity allows.
This role could be for you if you have :
- An enrollment in a recognized Engineering or Construction Management degree or diploma program.
- A positive mindset and sense of excitement for being in the action on-site.
- A proven track record of team collaboration, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be versatile, curious, meticulous, and eager to actively participate on a construction site.
- A passion for the construction industry.
