We are looking for a detail-oriented Guitar Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Yorkville Sound, Pickering. The ideal candidate would be a reliable, safety-conscious individual, who will inspect acoustic and electric guitars to make sure they meet our high-quality standards. Duties
- Inspect raw wood parts, hardware, and finished guitars for defects.
- Check neck alignment, fret smoothness, action height, and intonation.
- Test electronic components like pickups, switches, and jacks on electric guitars.
- Play basic chords and notes to test overall play ability and sound quality.
- Document inspection results and track common manufacturing issues.
- Clean and polish instruments for final packaging.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to play guitar
- Strong knowledge of guitar anatomy, hardware, and electronics.
- Knowledge of Gibson/Epiphone models
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read metric and imperial measurements
- Basic computer skills to log inventory and inspection reports.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Punctuality and reliability
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skid products safely on pallets
- Safety shoes are mandatory ($116 yearly reimbursement)

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
