Duties

- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to promote health and well-being
- Engage clients in recreational activities and social interactions to foster mental stimulation and emotional comfort
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Monitor residents’ health status,



report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Provide compassionate companionship, ensuring emotional support and dignity for each individual

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies for supporting residents with cognitive impairments
- Ability to administer medications accurately following established procedures
- Solid caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Capable of performing light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
