Candidate Profile

We are currently seeking highly motivated, diligent, and experienced individuals in the Calgary area to assume the role of Commercial Window Cleaning Technicians for the remaining 2026 season. These positions are offered as seasonal, full-time contracts.

Commercial Technicians typically work in larger, cohesive teams (‘crews’) under the direction of a supervisor. Work assignments often involve extended durations at the same commercial or industrial sites, primarily within the city or industrial park areas. While the predominant cleaning method utilizes a water-fed pole system, the role also requires the use of ladders, the operation of small engine equipment such as pressure washers, and the maintenance of water purification systems.



Performance expectations are high, necessitating that Commercial Technicians adhere to rigorous health and safety standards to meet client requirements.

Compensation and Professional Development

The starting wage is $26 per hour, transitioning to a commission-based structure upon the demonstration of full competency. Prior experience is a prerequisite. Comprehensive training will be provided, covering all necessary aspects of the role, including window cleaning techniques, power washing procedures, safe ladder usage, responsible chemical handling, and other relevant skills.

Key Responsibilities

The daily duties associated with this position include:

- Cultivating a positive and professional experience for customers, colleagues, and clients.
- Performing pressure washing services for businesses, public parks, and various commercial sites.
- Executing commercial property window cleaning as part of a small team, utilizing water-fed poles for exteriors and traditional scrub brushes and squeegees for interiors.
- Implementing and dismantling control zones, ladders, and other necessary equipment.

To perform this role effectively, applicants must be physically fit, capable of ascending ladders,



comfortable working at heights, and able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Mandatory Applicant Prerequisites:

- Current residency in Calgary, AB, or the adjacent surrounding areas.
- Possession of a Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Able to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of a clean police background check, the cost of which will be borne by the company.
- Attainment of Standard First Aid certification within 30 days of the commencement of employment.
