We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive customer satisfication.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds accurately
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about merchandise
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure proper merchandising at the register
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to reduce wait times and improve flow
- Ensure adherence to store policies regarding cash handling and transaction procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members to support overall store operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in fast food resturants preferred.
Any Popeyes experience is preferable but not mandator.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Proficiency with POS systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to meet sales goals
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques is advantageous
