Somerville Nurseries Inc. is one of Canada’s major producers of evergreens, a leader in wholesale supply of Christmas trees, landscape trees, and superior quality tree seedlings in Ontario. It was founded in the 1950's by John Somerville and continues to be proudly family owned and operated. Today, we manage over 3000 acres of Christmas trees, ornamental nursery stock and bareroot seedlings and transplants across 65 farms throughout the Simcoe and Dufferin Counties.
We are hiring up to 70 nursery workers to perform general labour. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Planting and pruning
- Lifting and replanting
- Cutting, digging, packing, cutting & baling live trees.
Position Requirements:
- All work is performed outdoors in all types of weather. Dress accordingly.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Daily hours change depending on seasonal requirements.

Wage offered follows the minimum wage set by the Government of Canada for TFW / SAWP agricultural workers.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
