Viking Motors / Westshore Marine & Leisure is looking for a reliable, hardworking person to help keep our dealerships clean, organized and looking their best.
This is a hands-on position with a mix of cleaning, organizing, detailing and general property upkeep. The majority of the work will be at our dealership locations, with occasional work at other company properties as required.
Duties
- Cleaning dealership showrooms, offices, washrooms, lunchrooms and customer areas
- Keeping floors, windows, entrances and high-traffic areas clean and presentable
- Emptying garbage, recycling and keeping cleaning supplies stocked
- Organizing storage areas, supplies and dealership spaces
- Helping keep outdoor areas, entrances and surrounding property tidy
- Cleaning and preparing other company-owned properties when required
- Light cleaning and detailing of vehicles, boats, powersports units or other dealership products
- Washing, vacuuming and wiping down vehicles or display units
- Helping prepare units for the showroom, customer pickup or display
- Helping with seasonal cleanup and general property appearance
- Noticing maintenance, damage or cleanliness issues and bringing them to management's attention
- Assisting with other general dealership tasks when needed
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable and shows up consistently
- Takes pride in keeping things clean and organized
- Pays attention to detail
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Notices things that need to be done and takes initiative
- Is comfortable doing a mix of indoor and outdoor work
- Can handle physical work including cleaning, lifting supplies and moving around the dealership
- Has a valid driver's licence
Schedule
- Full-time or part time depending on the right applicant.
- Some flexibility may be required depending on dealership needs.
About the Position
This is a good fit for someone who enjoys a job with variety. Some days may be focused on cleaning and organizing the dealership, while others may include detailing vehicles or products, helping prepare areas for customers, or keeping other company properties looking good.
The goal is simple: help us keep our dealerships and properties clean, organized and professional.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
