Work & Play is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our locally owned trailer dealership. This role involves helping customers identify the right parts and solutions for trailer, RV, towing, and service-related needs through counter service, phone inquiries, parts lookups, special orders, and sales. This is Monday to Friday position with an 8AM-5PM schedule, with no weekends required.

We are looking for someone with previous relevant parts or mechanical-industry experience who is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable asking questions. Accuracy and sound product knowledge are important in this role, particularly when dealing with towing components, axles, brakes, hitches, and other safety-related products. During slower periods, the Parts Advisor is also expected to assist with inventory, cycle counts, department organization, warehouse tasks, and other areas of the business as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in parts, automotive parts/counter sales, dealership parts or service, RV/trailer, equipment, industrial supply, or a similar mechanical parts environment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn trailer parts, towing products, axles, brakes, and related systems
- Strong customer service skills and professional telephone manner
- Comfortable using computer programs, inventory systems, and point-of-sale software
- Accurate and detail-oriented when handling parts lookups, orders, invoices, and special orders
- Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Bilingual French and English is a strong asset

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone with hitches, axles, RV parts, trailer parts, accessories, and related products
- Identify and look up parts, confirm availability,



and provide accurate product information to customers and staff
- Handle parts inquiries, quotes, follow-ups, special orders, invoicing, payments, and returns
- Coordinate with Service, Sales, Reception, Warehouse, and other departments to support daily operations
- Restock shelves, set up displays, assist with inventory and cycle counts, and maintain a clean and organized parts department
- During slower periods, assist with warehouse duties, inventory projects, organization, and other operational tasks as needed

WHAT WE OFFER

Work & Play offers a full-time Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend scheduling. Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on relevant experience, and employees are eligible for a comprehensive advantages plan following the probationary period. In business since 1991, Work & Play Moncton is one of the Maritimes' largest trailer dealerships, with a large retail parts department and a full-service trailer and RV repair shop. We sell and service utility, enclosed, dump, equipment, camper, gooseneck, snowmobile, and other trailers.
