Geosource Energy is looking for a Maintenance & Equipment Coordinator to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our fleet, construction equipment, tools, and field support equipment. This role is responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance documentation, while also supporting equipment improvements and modifications to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for fleet, construction equipment, tools, and field support equipment.

· Schedule and track inspections, servicing, work orders, repairs, and equipment operating hours to ensure maintenance is completed on time.

· Work with Heavy Equipment Technicians, Site Foremen, and field teams to prioritize equipment failures and minimize downtime.

· Review inspection results and maintenance history to identify upcoming requirements, recurring failures, and preventive actions.

· Coordinate with Procurement and Inventory Control to source required parts and services and maintain appropriate stock of critical components.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records, service bulletins, inspection documents, manuals, SOPs, and related training materials.

· Monitor and report key maintenance information such as inspection completion, downtime, reliability, parts usage, and preventive maintenance activity.

· Support equipment improvement initiatives by reviewing maintenance trends, field performance, and operator or technician feedback.

· Collaborate with field and technical teams on practical equipment modifications, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Assist with technical drawings, layouts, specifications, work instructions, and documentation for new, modified, or internally fabricated equipment.





· Research equipment technologies and components that may improve safety, reliability, productivity, or operational efficiency.

· Coordinate maintenance requirements for shop and yard equipment and ensure equipment returning from the field is inspected before redeployment.

Skills and Qualifications

· Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, or a related field is preferred.

· Experience in equipment maintenance, fleet maintenance, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or a related mechanical environment.

· Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Experience with maintenance, fleet management, CMMS, or work-order systems is an asset.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and specifications.

· Strong organization, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.

· AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks experience is an asset.

· Comfort working in both shop and field environments.

· Valid G Class driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
