We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to operate Raymond Reach and Dockstocker powered industrial trucks. This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading materials and deliveries, transporting products throughout the facility, and maintaining accurate and efficient material movement between storage areas, production machines, loading docks, trucks, and railcars.
Responsibilities
- Operate Raymond Reach and Dockstocker trucks safely and efficiently.
- Obtain production schedules or shipping orders and transport materials and equipment to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move palletized and crated materials throughout the warehouse and storage areas.
- Stack materials in designated storage bays according to inventory control procedures.
- Inspect and secure loads before transportation.
- Stack and organize empty pallets.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance, including battery charging and equipment lubrication.
- Remove machine attachments and waste materials from production equipment.
- Examine products and materials to verify conformance with quality standards.
- Operate an RF scanner when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and recordkeeping requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a Raymond Reach Truck and/or Dockstocker required
- Basic computer skills may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to accurately complete required documentation and records.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a rapid-paced warehouse
