About the Position
Auto Workforces Inc. is seeking a Warehouse & Quality Control Officer to support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, order preparation, equipment quality control, and order release processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment, parts, and customer orders are accurately received, stored, picked, inspected, documented, and prepared for final release or delivery.
This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate with the Order Desk, Warehouse, Technical Support, QC, Sales, and Administration teams to keep orders moving efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, staging, order preparation, returns, and equipment movement.
- Receive incoming equipment and parts and verify quantities, model numbers, serial numbers, and condition against shipping and purchase documents.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper tracking of serial numbers and part numbers.
- Identify orders requiring quality-control inspection before inventory depletion, release, or delivery.
- Coordinate with Technical Support to assign qualified technicians to equipment requiring technical or functional QC inspection.
- Monitor daily QC jobs, technician assignments, priorities, and completion timelines.
- Follow up with technicians to ensure required inspections are completed on time.
- Ensure applicable QC checklists are fully completed and properly documented before equipment is approved for release.
- Immediately escalate failed, incomplete, or delayed QC inspections.
- Verify order details including model, quantity, serial number, accessories, cables, manuals, and required components before final release.
- Coordinate staging of completed orders for pickup, shipping, installation, or delivery.
- Maintain organized warehouse areas and clearly separate available inventory, QC-pending items,
ready-to-ship orders, returned goods, defective/warranty items, and items awaiting assessment.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and traceability for received, transferred, depleted, returned, defective, warranty, demonstration, and service-related items.
- Coordinate returned equipment with the Order Desk and Technical Support and document the condition and reason for return.
- Ensure defective and warranty items are properly identified and segregated from saleable inventory.
- Support warranty documentation, supplier claims, and replacement tracking.
- Monitor spare-parts inventory and identify shortages or replenishment requirements.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse, QC, receiving, order, and inventory records in applicable systems.
- Communicate promptly regarding stock shortages, damaged goods, missing accessories, QC failures, order discrepancies, and processing delays.
- Prepare daily visibility of outstanding QC jobs and orders waiting for inspection.
- Follow up on outstanding items until QC results and order statuses are finalized.
- Identify recurring warehouse, packing, QC, or inventory issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and QC environment.
- Follow all company safety and material-handling procedures.
- Protect company inventory, equipment, tools, and customer property from loss, damage, or unauthorized movement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, order processing, quality control, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately work with model numbers, serial numbers, quantities, parts, and order documentation.
- Strong computer skills and experience with inventory/order systems and spreadsheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse, technical, sales, and administrative teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple orders and QC requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-identification, follow-up, and resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic technical or mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Automotive equipment knowledge is considered an asset.
- Commitment to safety, inventory accuracy, quality, and accountability.
- Ability to safely lift and handle equipment or packages within company safety limits.

Work Environment

- Regular standing, walking, bending, and manual handling.

- Occasional overtime or schedule flexibility may be required during high-volume periods, inventory counts, or urgent order processing.
