The Sheraton Hamilton is currently recruiting for a Part Time Restaurant Host. This postings is for an existing, open position.

HOURS: Shifts will vary depending on operational requirements to include weekends and holidays.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

-Controlling the flow of work in the room by seating guest

-Responsible for Greeting and seating guests in a warm and friendly manner

-Answering all calls, data entry

-Taking and booking individual and group reservations

-Taking room service orders, ensuring delivery in 30 minutes





-Assisting service staff with other duties as required

QUALIFICATION

-High School or equivalent education

-Minimum of two (2) years experience in public contact/hospitality experience preferred

-Well developed command of the English language

-Demonstrated customer service skills, previous cash handling experience required

-Previous telecommunication experience an asset

-Working Knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Word
