Wilco Contractors is currently looking for an OFF ROAD Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic, to join our growing Calgary team for a full time year round position.

Job Duties:

- Troubleshooting of engine, hydraulic, electrical, braking and powertrain systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair all makes and models of Heavy Equipment
- General mechanical repairs
- Competently use typical shop equipment including hoists, air jacks, and hydraulic equipment
- Diagnose and complete repairs, PMs on all company equipment in shop and field.
- Order parts/material required to complete repairs
- Ability to work call-outs, weekends, and overtime, if required.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician or OFF/On-Road RED SEAL Journeyperson Ticket
- Extensive experience with Heavy Equipment and OFF ROAD Field work
- Familiar with diagnostic software
- Valid class 5 license, with clean driver abstract.
- Must have your own tools
- Positive communication and organizational skills.

Working conditions:





- Working within both indoor and outdoor work environments; ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures, dusty and loud work environments
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting/carrying of items up to 80lbs

Pay: $46.00-$51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 65.0 per week
