Tree Tops Cannabis Co. — Retail Associate

Job Summary

We’re looking for friendly, reliable and outgoing people to join the Tree Tops Cannabis Co. team in Dorchester.

As a Retail Associate, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for our customers, answer questions, provide product information and help customers find products that suit their needs.

You don’t need to be a cannabis expert when you start. We’re looking for people who are comfortable talking with customers, enjoy learning, and take pride in providing outstanding service. Training will be provided.

What you’ll do

- Welcome customers and create a friendly, comfortable store environment.
- Listen to customers and help them find products that meet their needs.
- Answer questions and provide accurate product information.
- Complete sales and payments using our POS system.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate transactions.
- Keep the store clean, organized and well presented.
- Help with stocking, inventory and merchandising.
- Follow all required procedures and age-verification requirements.
- Work as part of a small team to keep the store running smoothly.
- Help create the kind of customer experience that keeps people coming back.

What we’re looking for

- Friendly, approachable and comfortable working with the public.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.




- Retail or customer-service experience is an asset.
- Previous cannabis retail experience is an asset, but not required.
- CannSell certification is an asset, but not required.
- Must be willing to obtain CannSell certification prior to working in the store.
- Must be willing to complete a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
- Comfortable learning about products and sharing that information with customers.
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling transactions.
- Able to work independently while also being a good team member.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, is an asset.
