Part time Jewelry Maker & Studio Fulfillment Assistant

Downtown Vancouver, BC

We are a growing gemstone jewelry company based in downtown Vancouver looking for an exceptionally fast, highly computer-savvy, organized, resourceful and detail-oriented person to join our studio part-time.

This is a hands-on position combining jewelry making, order fulfillment, shipping and computer-based studio work. We move quickly, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely thrives in that kind of environment.

A major part of this position is making gemstone stretch bracelets. We are specifically looking for someone who is experienced and confident working with elastic, tying extremely secure knots, accurately sizing bracelets and producing beautiful, consistent work quickly.

Just as importantly, we need someone who is exceptionally comfortable with computers and technology, learns new systems quickly and has a solid sense of ownership.

You Need to Be Extremely Comfortable With Computers

This is a significant part of the position.

You should be the kind of person who can sit down at a computer, learn a new program quickly and confidently figure things out without needing extensive instruction.

You’ll regularly move between e-commerce software, shipping platforms, email, order notes, customer information, printing systems and multiple browser tabs. You should be comfortable troubleshooting small technical problems yourself rather than becoming stuck when something doesn't immediately work.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Is exceptionally comfortable with computers and technology
- Learns new software very quickly
- Can confidently navigate multiple programs and browser tabs at once
- Types and works efficiently on a computer
- Is comfortable with Shopify or confident they can learn it quickly
- Can learn multiple shipping platforms
- Can create domestic and international shipping labels accurately
- Notices when information doesn't look right
- Can troubleshoot basic computer or software issues independently
- Isn't intimidated by unfamiliar systems or technology

You Need to Move Exceptionally Fast

This isn't simply a "fast-paced environment." We are specifically looking for someone who is naturally a very fast worker.

People you've worked with may already describe you as unusually quick,



efficient or productive.

You move with purpose. You don't spend unnecessary time between tasks. You can switch from making bracelets to packing orders to creating shipping labels and keep moving.

Speed matters enormously to us, but so does accuracy. The right person can do both.

You don't simply notice a problem and hand it to someone else. You investigate it, think creatively, find possible solutions and follow it through until it's actually resolved.

What You'll Be Doing

- Making a high volume of gemstone stretch bracelets
- Tying secure, professional elastic knots
- Measuring and sizing bracelets accurately
- Working with different gemstone bead sizes, shapes and weights
- Checking bracelet tension, sizing, knots and overall quality
- Resizing and remaking stretch bracelets when required
- Assisting with other jewelry assembly
- Picking and fulfilling customer orders
- Reading detailed sizing, customization and order notes
- Packing jewelry beautifully and efficiently
- Creating domestic and international shipping labels
- Working extensively on a computer
- Using Shopify and multiple shipping platforms
- Printing labels and organizing outgoing shipments
- Quality-checking finished jewelry and customer orders
- Troubleshooting order and fulfillment issues
- Finding solutions when something doesn't go according to plan
- Taking ownership of tasks from beginning to end
- Following up on unresolved tasks until they're complete
- Looking for smarter and more efficient ways to do things
- Helping improve studio systems and processes
- Keeping production and fulfillment areas organized

This is not a slow-paced creative position. We are a busy, growing small business processing customer orders every day. We care enormously about beautiful craftsmanship and customer experience, but we also care about speed, efficiency and getting things done.

The right person can sit down and make beautiful stretch bracelets quickly, jump onto a computer and confidently create shipping labels, pack orders beautifully, notice a problem, solve it and follow everything through to completion.

Position Details

Part-time
2–3 days per week (4-5 hour shifts)
In-person at our downtown Vancouver studio
$22-$30 / hour based on experience
