We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations in a metal recycling facility in the GTA. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and drive preventive maintenance programs in a heavy industrial environment.
Pay - $95K-$110K
Key Responsibilities:-
- Oversee maintenance of shredders, conveyors, crushers, and heavy equipment
- Lead and supervise a team of millwrights, electricians, and technicians
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to reduce downtime
- Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor coordination
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations (OHSA)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports (CMMS)
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
Qualifications:-
- 5 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (metal recycling, steel, or heavy manufacturing)
- Solid leadership experience managing maintenance teams
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and heavy machinery
