R2 Gaming Inc. supports arcade and gaming operations across Canada, delivering installations, conversions, repairs, and technical support for small to large client projects. We operate in fast-paced environments where accountability, technical skill, and strong communication matter.

We are expanding our Arcade Division and seeking a motivated Junior Technician who is hands-on, technically inclined, and ready to grow within the company.

Position Overview
The Junior Technician assists with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of arcade gaming equipment. You will work alongside Senior Technicians and report directly to the Field Technical Supervisor.

This role is ideal for someone who can work with minimal supervision, quickly understand manuals and service documentation, and apply logical troubleshooting skills in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in installation, setup, and configuration of arcade machines
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues
- Read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation
- Provide good customer service to business partners and clients on-site
- Maintain skilled and timely communication with internal teams and external partners
- Document service work accurately
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and job-site organization




- Travel across Ontario and occasionally across Canada for projects
- Support Senior Technicians during larger deployments

Qualifications

- Technical background preferred (electrical, electronics, mechanical, IT Hardware, or related field)
- 1–2 years of hands-on technical experience is an asset
- Ability to quickly understand manuals and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Comfortable working independently with less supervision
- Strong communication and professional customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel

Compensation

- $22–$27/hour (based on experience and skillset)
- Company-paid travel expenses (flights, hotels, mileage, and approved meals)

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
