Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment and vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet and industrial machinery are maintained or repaired at the highest level of accuracy, and quality. This position offers an exciting chance to work with diverse machinery including: RAM, FORD, and GM trucks. Skid steer, Manlift, Kenworth, Isuzu, CAT, and much more. In all aspects of the industry including: Deletes and tuning, lift kits, lighting, Horsepower as well as general maintenance, failure and breakdown analysis and repair.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines, Steering, Suspension, Driveline, Electrical
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles such as trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, and occasionally machinery to the utmost quality
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and overhead lifting devices to complete repairs with extreme accuracy




- Interpret technical manuals, scan tool data, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot mechanical, cooling, and electrical issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, service records, work orders, and inspection reports for all repairs performed.

Requirements

- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engines, suspension and driveline. dealership experience or other high end facilities are preferred.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy will be rewarded
- Familiarity with schematics from OEM, ProDemand and ALLDATA, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid certification or training in diesel mechanics.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality at a fast pace.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
