Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Glazing Supervisor to lead our glazing team in delivering exceptional quality and efficiency on construction projects. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of glazing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold safety protocols, and maintain rigorous quality control throughout each phase of the glazing process.

Responsibilities

- Install curtain wall framing, aluminum entrance frames, doors and hardware, aluminum and fiberglass window units, structural silicone glazing and sloped glazing
- Assemble and install pre-fabricated glass, mirrors or glass products on walls or exteriors
- Work from mobile equipment, scaffolds, and swing stages
- Install, fit, fabricate, and attach architectural metals or related substitute products in commercial and residential buildings
- Lay out, measure, and install/replace architectural glass and metal components and air/vapour barriers in systems such as entranceways, windows, skylights, and curtain walls
- Ensure and enforce compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures, especially in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety
- Manage the direction and timely completion of jobs while adhering to budget and material requirements
- Conduct safety meetings and workplace inspections and assessments




- Ensure jobsite is properly maintained
- Ensure adequate supervision and direction of workers
- Identify quantity and scope changes to the Contract and communicate to the Project Manager
- Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance
- Serve as main contact for field personnel and Project Managers or Superintendents
- Supervise crew and ensure productivity on installation and repair of glazing systems
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines

Requirements

- 5+ years’ commercial glazing experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and architectural drawings
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to instruct recent workers
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to learn and follow our extensive company health & safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work in any weather conditions
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Ability to travel (up to 11-day runs)
- Working at Heights certificate an asset

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 – 50.0 per week
