Job Summary

We are seeking a Permanent Forklift Operator for a direct hire prospect in Mississauga, ON, supporting busy cross-dock and LTL transportation operations. This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys fast-paced warehouse and logistics environments where accuracy, safety, teamwork, and reliable service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklift equipment, including counterbalance and/or reach forklifts, to load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
- Perform cross-dock duties, including receiving, sorting, staging, transferring,



and organizing freight for LTL shipments.
- Load outbound trailers according to delivery routes, freight requirements, proper weight distribution, and safe handling procedures.
- Verify freight labels, shipment details, piece counts, and report any shortages, damage, or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe dock and warehouse areas while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with drivers, warehouse supervisors, operations, and customer service teams to support efficient freight movement.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire, permanent opportunity.
- Location: Mississauga, ON.
- Shift options: Day shift from 6:00am to 3:00pm, or afternoon shift from 3:00pm to 12:00pm.
- Benefits after 90 days include medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 2 weeks’ vacation after 90 days.
- Dress code: Casual work environment, jeans allowed, safety shoes required.
