The Opportunity
Dilawri Group in Ontario is actively seeking a Lot Attendant to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.
Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
The Lot Attendant will support the dealership’s daily operations by maintaining an organized, safe, and professional-looking vehicle lot. The successful candidate will assist with vehicle preparation, movement, deliveries, dealer trades,
and general lot maintenance while providing courteous service to customers and dealership team members.
Responsibilities
Arrange and organize vehicles to maximize available space and maintain an attractive, professional-looking lot.
Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property.
Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, visible damage, and other concerns, and promptly report any issues.
Ensure vehicles are properly labelled and display all required information.
Prepare vehicles for scheduled customer deliveries, including washing and fuelling as required.
Assist with receiving and organizing new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.
Participate in dealer trades, vehicle pickups and drop-offs, and other driving assignments.
Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the dealership lot and surrounding outdoor areas.
Assist with sweeping, waste removal, and snow clearing as required.
Keep vehicle keys organized and follow established key-control procedures.
Provide courteous and professional assistance to customers and dealership team members.
Follow all dealership safety procedures and immediately report hazards or vehicle damage.
Perform other duties required to support dealership operations.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario driver’s licence with at least three years of licensed driving experience.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Ability to safely operate vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
Reliable,
hardworking, and organized.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Effective time-management and prioritization skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Comfortable working outdoors year-round and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Previous dealership, lot attendant, vehicle preparation, or automotive experience is considered an asset.
