310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician – Midas

Midas is looking for a skilled and dependable 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

You will work on a wide range of customer vehicles, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently, communicate well with the team, and take pride in getting repairs done right.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair vehicles, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, engine, electrical, heating and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, fluid services, inspections, and tune-ups.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, and drivability repairs.
- Use scan tools, diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, and service information to identify vehicle concerns accurately.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and clearly document repair recommendations for the service advisor.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Work alongside service advisors and other technicians to ensure vehicles are ready on time.
- Keep your bay and shop area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all Midas procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality-control standards.

Qualifications





- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician licence — required.
- Experience working on domestic and import passenger vehicles and light trucks.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills in brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, engine, and electrical systems.
- Comfortable using scan tools, hand tools, power tools, hoists, tire equipment, and alignment equipment.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
- Ability to work independently, manage time well, and contribute positively to a team.
- Solid attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Alignment, A/C, hybrid/EV, welding, and advanced diagnostic experience are assets.

IF YOU ARE AN APPRENTICE:

310S licence is preferred; however, we are also open to hiring a strong third- or fourth-year Automotive Service Technician apprentice. Apprentice compensation will be $26–$30 per hour, based on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
