We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-Time Math Tutor for 3 hours per day. In this role, you will provide personalized tutoring sessions to 8th standard and 10th standard of boy and girl, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while balancing other commitments. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions focused on math concepts aligned with students’ curriculum and needs
- Assess students’ understanding and tailor lessons to address individual strengths and areas for improvement
- Use effective teaching strategies to simplify complex mathematical ideas, making them accessible and enjoyable
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, session plans, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, or guardians to communicate student achievements and challenges
- Incorporate technology and computer skills to enhance learning experiences through educational software or virtual platforms
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and perseverance in math
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or students in an educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of math topics across various grade levels and curricula
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience, especially in math or related subjects such as computer science or special education
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with online learning platforms and educational software
- Classroom experience or familiarity with instructional techniques is a plus
- Passion for education, helping students succeed, and inspiring confidence in their abilities
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
