Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and baked goods with precision and cleanliness
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring correct change and transaction records
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Keep the workspace organized, clean,
and stocked with supplies to ensure seamless service during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or the food industry, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, measuring ingredients, and managing transactions confidently
