We’re looking for a skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a welcoming and collaborative dental team in Calgary.
This is a great opportunity for an RDA who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, supporting the clinical team, and helping create a positive experience for every patient. You’ll work alongside experienced dental professionals in a supportive setting where teamwork, communication, and quality care are highly valued.
Specifics About the Role
- Job Type: Part Time
- Schedule: Monday: 10 am-6 pm, Tuesday: 11 am-7 pm and Friday: 8 am-2 pm
What You’ll Do
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for appointments
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Provide patients with a welcoming and comfortable experience throughout their appointments
- Take and develop dental radiographs as required
- Perform sterilization and infection prevention and control procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Assist with impressions, scans, and other clinical procedures
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Support efficient patient flow and appointment schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized,
and well-stocked clinical environment
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols
- Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant and in good standing with the CADA.
- Experience with Cleardent & Primescan would be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- A positive, professional, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
