Java Developer - Findur Application

Duration of Contract: 36 months
Remote work
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

- On-Call (may be required; Bank standard is to pay 1 hour per 24 hour on-call period)

Security Clearance: Secret (Requires a minimum of ten (10) years of verifiable personal history) or must be eligible to obtain it

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze, design, develop, and implement application enhancements and modernization initiatives,

including technology upgrades, system integrations, and cloud-based solutions, to meet business and
regulatory requirements

- Support and enhance data integration, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting solutions related to

the Findur application and associated upstream and downstream systems

- Perform technical and root-cause analysis on issues and, recommend and implement appropriate

corrective actions

- Apply and promote development best practices such as test-driven development and DevOps
- Provide second-line application support, including the investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of

complex technical issues

- Leverage, maintain and enhance existing automation and modernization frameworks supporting the

Findur application

- Related activities and deliverable, as required

Relevant Experience

- Demonstrated experience working with Agile delivery environments and applying DevOps

practices and tools, including Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps

- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with enterprise financial trading,

treasury, risk management, or capital market applications, including the implementation of
application enhancements, system integrations, configurations, or technology upgrades.





- Demonstrated experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability,

reliability, and security requirements

Technical Skills

- A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application

development using Eclipse IDE

- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases, solid

understanding of SQL, preferably with Oracle

- Demonstrated experience with Java development, configuration, customization, integration,

and support with a complex enterprise environment

- Demonstrated experience developing and customizing enterprise financial trading and risk

management platforms, preferably with ION/OpenLink Findur or Endur.

- Demonstrated experience designing. implementing secure, scalable cloud-based solution

architectures in an enterprise environment, including application integration, security
controls, governance requirement

- Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and supporting performance testing

activities, including identifying, analyzing, and resolving application performance bottlenecks

- Demonstrated experience with financial applications/systems and data warehouse

technologies, including data modelling, data integration, data transformation, reconciliation,
and reporting solutions

Education and Certifications

- University degree or college diploma in computer science, software engineering, information

technology, engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary
institution.
