Job Summary

Join our Turf Maintenance team as a Greenskeeper 4 and build your experience in the golf course turf industry while working as part of a skilled grounds maintenance team. This position provides the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in golf course maintenance, including turf care, mowing, irrigation, bunker maintenance, and general course upkeep.

As a Greenskeeper 4, you will perform a variety of daily maintenance tasks to help maintain the playing conditions and overall appearance of the golf course. You will operate a range of turf maintenance equipment, assist with projects and course improvements, and work alongside experienced members of the Turf Maintenance team. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, and is interested in developing their skills in the turf maintenance field.

Responsibilities

- Cut greens, tees, collars, and approaches
- Change pins and block settings on the greens and tees
- Use hand rakes or mechanical rakes to maintain bunkers
- Use trim mowers to maintain greens and tee surrounds and other prescribed areas
- Use various triplex mower attachments to perform required maintenance tasks
- Use ride on roller to roll greens
- Use various powered hand tools (line trimmers,



rotary mowers, edgers, turf cutters) to perform required maintenance tasks
- Use all utility vehicles to transport people and materials
- Help in project work: course construction, bunker renovations, drainage, laying sod, installing cart paths, building retaining walls and any other work that is required
- Use various blowers and leaf picking equipment
- Hand watering throughout the golf course property
- Perform any other related duty that is directed by the Supervisor

Qualifications

- Grade 10 education
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be physically able to perform all tasks assigned in an efficient manner that meets course standards

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and is interested in developing their skills and gaining experience in golf course turf maintenance. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in an active outdoor environment are significant to this position.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
