Responsibilities
- Conduct tire inspections, rotations, repairs, and replacements efficiently and safely
- Perform oil changes and fluid top-offs using hand tools and power tools with attention to detail
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and belt inspections
- Use mechanical knowledge to identify potential issues and communicate findings clearly to customers or supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment to uphold safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support sales efforts by informing customers about recommended services and products
Experience
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, tires, oils, and fluids essential for success in this role
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks highly advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of tire handling and vehicle servicing tasks
- Prior experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
