in our Calgary office, as a:

Production Supervisor

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the production / grading department that is responsible for sorting fresh produce to meet customer specifications

· Manage labour requirements and productivity to achieve set case cost and efficiency metrics

· Complete required paperwork and necessary items within the computer systems with accuracy

· Provide instructions, coaching, and training, to employees and communicate production and quality requirements/expectations

· Communicates, enforces and adheres to company policies & procedures to ensure compliance with OH&S; and Food Safe regulations

· Conduct employee evaluations

Qualifications:

· Prior produce and/or warehouse experience is considered a valuable asset

· Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of packaging, UPC’s and CFIA labelling requirements

· Excellent computer skills and previous experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Experience with ERP/WMS is an asset.

· Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude

· Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised and meet key deadlines

· Detail oriented and able to multi-task multiple projects at any given time

· Knowledge of food safe programs (SQF, HACCP)

· Ability to work in high-paced setting and able to handle pressure

· Highly organized; knowledgeable and follow the company’s policies and procedures
