The clinic is well designed in order to facilitate good workflow, and we have space to grow. Coxwell currently has two full time and one part time veterinarians, equipped with a well rounded support staff and a great management team to support our staff. Our current receptionist will be an integral part of our team. You are the familiar face and voice that the client gets to know and trust. The rest of the team relies on you to manage our schedule for optimum efficiency.
Reception duties may include but aren't limited to,
- Directing phones and emails
- Managing bookings, sales and recommendations of products and services.
- Educate clients on basic animal wellness issues such as vaccines, spaying, neutering, nutrition, and parasite prevention.
- Attaching files, sending records,
submitting insurance claims and liaison with referral and emergency clinics
- Handling all payments and submitting a daily finance report
The ideal candidate will have;
- A background with a strong focus on excellent customer service (required). Reception and office administration experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail
- A candidate with two or more years of Veterinary Reception experience is preferred but not required.
- Able to work with a team
- Quick learner
- Excellent communication skills.
We will also consider you if you have a great attitude, great service skills, office administration experience and of course a love of animals. A good receptionist is the captain of our ship and guides the team through their day. This position will be full time. Our clinic is open (Mon - Sat) and shifts vary so flexibility is key.
