Job Responsibilities

As a Licensed Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE), you will:

Develop and Implement Programs

- Design and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning activities in alignment with Ontario’s How Does Learning Happen (HDLH)Pedagogical Framework and Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) framework.
- Create a protected, inclusive, and engaging environment to support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Observe and Document Progress

- Observe and assess children’s interests, abilities, and needs, using this information to tailor programming.
- Maintain accurate records of daily logs, developmental milestones, attendance, and needed documents.

Foster Collaboration and Communication

- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.




- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and address concerns in a professional and caring manner.

Ensure Health and Safety

- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Follow established policies and procedures.

Engage in Professional Development

- Participate in ongoing training sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
- Stay updated on the latest practices and trends in early childhood education.

Support Administrative Duties

- Assist with room setup, organization, and daily maintenance of a welcoming learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and Treasure Garden Childcare policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.86 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
