Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Requirements:

- Drivers abstract with 5 years clean driving
- Drivers authorization form to be signed in an interview
- 1-2 years Counterbalance experience
- 1-2 years Telehandler experience
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for the metal trade
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and lift up to 65 lbs
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and commitment to safety
- Organizational skills and inventory skills for the Tool crib
- Valid Class 5 drivers license (minimum) with a clean driving abstract
- Proven delivery or commercial driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of prior equipment/material delivery experience
- Knowledge of NSC (National Safety Code) Standards for Provincial carriers
- Can stand on feet for 8 - 10 hours per day

Duties and Responsibilities:

Driving duties:





- Driving 1 ton truck with a trailer to sites is priority - must be able to navigate a trailer and back up a trailer
- Loading company truck/trailer and unloading materials with either a telehandler or counterbalance forklift ( Galvanized Bars, Flashing , membrane, primer, skids ECT)
- Picking up materials from suppliers( skids of insulation, membrane, fasteners ECT)
- Communication between foreman on site or the superintendent to confirm where to deliver or pick up materials
- Emails to shop manager and office staff of what is being delivered or picked up
- keeping track of all fuel receipts and supplier paper work

Shop Duties:

- Inventory control of all tools in the tool crib and fasteners
- Damaged tools tagged out and sent for service from site or in the shop
- Assistance in the shop with fabrication of ACM panels, LKMe panels ( drilling holes , pop riveting , counter sinking, with cordless drills, using miter saw,
- Ability to measure and read a tape measure
- Helping with crating of materials ( ACM panels, LKMe panels, Galvanized Bars, Flashing )
- Lifting and moving materials around the shop and compound.
- House keeping in the shop and out back in the compound
- Lawn maintenance
- Good verbal communication between shop manager and office staff
