Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary supplies and safety barriers
- Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas with care and precision
- Support site cleanup efforts to maintain a protected and tidy environment throughout the day
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision to gain experience and confidence
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Reliable transportation or access to work sites as required
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not mandatory—training will be provided!
