Job Posting: Boardgame Café Associate
Location: Twice the Dice Boardgame Cafe
Position Type: Fixed scedule ( 11am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and on weekends if required)
Do you love board games, great food, and friendly vibes? Twice the Dice is looking for a passionate and energetic Café Associate to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic space where hospitality meets tabletop fun.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve food items, primarily sandwiches and light snacks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area
- Recommend games and help guests get set up at their tables
- Handle cash and operate a POS system
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for all patrons
Qualifications
- Serving It Right certification – required
- Food Safe certification – an asset
- Experience in food preparation, customer service, or café work preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
