Security Systems & Visitor Management Programmer / Network Technician

We are looking for a Security Systems and Visitor Management Programmer with robust networking skills to program, install, integrate and troubleshoot commercial systems.

Responsibilities

- Program and configure visitor management systems
- Program IP cameras, NVRs, video management and access control systems
- Configure intrusion detection and intercom systems
- Integrate visitor management software with access control, cameras and other security systems
- Set up and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks, VLANs, switches, routers, VPNs, DHCP and DNS
- Install and test low-voltage wiring and network connections
- Diagnose software, network, database, wiring and hardware issues
- Read blueprints, schematics and construction drawings
- Commission systems and provide onsite or remote technical support
- Use hand and power tools safely during installations
- Maintain system configuration and service records

Requirements

- Experience with visitor management, CCTV,



access control or related security systems
- Strong networking and technical troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of software installation, Windows systems and databases
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the GTA

Experience with Honeywell products, including MAXPRO and Pro-Watch, is preferred but not required. Experience with LenelS2, Aiphone, Windows Server, SQL databases, APIs or software integrations is also an asset.
