Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Kinesiologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human movement and rehabilitation, focusing on improving patients' physical health and quality of life. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Duties

- Conduct assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physiotherapist, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic.
- Provide support in senior care settings, nursing homes, or hospitals as needed,



ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in kinesiology practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.

Experience

- A degree in Kinesiology or a related field is required.
- Experience in patient care settings, particularly in pediatrics or senior care environments, is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and medication administration is a plus.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in kinesiology practices.
- Surrey Business License Preference
