Position Overview

Sunco Glass Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication & Glazing Technician to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be a well-rounded commercial glazier capable of working in both our fabrication facility and on active construction sites. This position requires hands-on experience with the fabrication, machining, assembly, glazing, and field installation of commercial aluminum and glazing systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial glazing installation experience combined with fabrication skills and CNC-related knowledge. They must be comfortable transitioning between shop fabrication and field installation depending on project requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

The successful candidate must be capable of:

- Installing commercial curtainwall, storefront, aluminum doors, frames, sealed units, and architectural glazing systems.
- Fabricating and assembling curtainwall, storefront, doors, and other commercial aluminum systems.
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documents.
- Accurately laying out, measuring, cutting, drilling, routing, machining,



and assembling aluminum components.
- Operating CNC and other aluminum fabrication equipment.
- Understanding CNC setup, tooling, machining processes, and fabrication workflows.
- Installing door hardware, gaskets, pressure plates, caps, sealants, and related glazing components.
- Performing field measurements and identifying installation or fabrication issues.
- Working independently in both shop and field environments.
- Operating lifts, power tools, and standard commercial glazing equipment.
- Maintaining a high level of workmanship, accuracy, and safety in both fabrication and installation.

Commercial glazing installation experience is required for this position. CNC and aluminum fabrication knowledge are also key components of the role.

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
