The PerceiveMD team is looking for a Part time Cannabis Coach.

10-20 hours/week virtual (work from home) for British Columbia residents. Hours vary weekly, and are dependent on physician availability. Clinic schedule is released monthly for the following month (e.g. October is available September 1). The coach will work on set clinic days (typically 1-3/week), and have additional hours for other tasks that are flexible.

The Cannabis Coach is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team-based, patient-focused clinic. You will work alongside a team of nurses, pharmacists, physicians, and other coaches to provide comprehensive medical cannabis assessments.

The Cannabis Coach is the product expert. Based on the recommendations from the physician, the Cannabis Coach matches each patient with their ideal Licensed Producer & product for their condition. They provide education on dosing, and are the patient's main point of contact to answer questions that arise along their cannabis journey.

Equipment

- Computer with microphone, video, and Google Chrome (Laptops can work, but small screens have proven difficult to work with)
- Quality Wi-Fi: your internet connection should be stable and fast enough to handle video conferencing, (please check your internet speed, Google search: "Google Speed Test",



you should have a minimum of 10mbps upload speed)
- Desk or ergonomic work station with privacy

Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate has a passion for cannabis. They may already have a relationship with the plant, and are looking for an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with others in a medical setting. While it's not necessary to have all the product and dosing knowledge, having a basic understanding of cannabis and it's constituents will be a key player for the successful candidate. They will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Most of all, the ideal candidate is a compassionate and patient individual, driven to help people along their wellness journey.

The candidate must be able to type efficiently and is proficient with technology. A variety of web applications are used in this position - you will work with several tabs open and data entry (e.g. patient's LP, product, dose) is required. Experience using an EMR or similar system is an asset.
