At Provisions Food Company our passion for quality food and exceptional ingredients became our specialty gourmet food business over a decade ago. We are located in beautiful Beamsville, Ontario we’ve grown to service Retail, Wholesale and Private Label customers across Canada.

We pour love into every detail of our handcrafted delicious fruit jams, condiments, shortbreads, seasonings, popcorns and more in our small-batch production kitchen. We’re always inspired by the local beauty and bounty in the vineyards, orchards and farms of the Niagara region.

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic part-time entry level Food Production Assistant to join our positive and supportive team at Provisions Food Company in Beamsville.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the production kitchen, weighing ingredients, pouring jam, etc.
- Perform various tasks primarily in the kitchen and additionally in packaging areas, as required.
- Keep production areas clean and explicit.
- Packaging, filling and labeling of packaged food products.




- Ensure product compliance to established standards.
- Perform all related tasks requested by the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate well (verbally and written).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Job lifting: up to 50 lbs from ground to tables or shelving.
- Enjoy a fast paced work environment.
- Can stand on feet for up to 8 hours a day.
- Previous work experience in the food industry or food manufacturing is considered an asset, but not essential.
- Ability to follow procedures and execute them efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Can work in a repetitive fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
